More of Hawaii

Say Hello to my little friends
This little crab was sunning
himself on a rock in Hanalei

This little Gecko was on a leaf in the Botanical Gardens.....Probably thinking about how to save money on car insurance.

Chickens and Roosters roam the islands

Sorry to say I cannot remember the name
of this bird - - Not a woodpecker
Here's a Sea turtle swimming in the surf next to the hotel.  AMAZING!

ZUMBA

ZZZZUUMMMBBA!

So a friend from work mentioned the class and I thought I would check it out!

This dance class was founded by a young columbian man in the 90's and everything old is new again.  Yes, we started with aerobics, dance aerobics, jazzercize and I would be remiss to forget Tae-bo or Tae-boxing.  Now it's Zumba!

I loved it!  I loved the music and the energy and it helps if you have a great instructor - which I did!

Check it out near you!

It's That Time O' Year Again - Mallomars are a controlled Substance

It's true!  I LOVE these things and have a hard time putting the box away with any cookies still in the box.  Ask my friend Jamie.  He bought me 10 boxes one Christmas - we won't go there...........

But I want you to check out this blog, it's all true! They only produce Mallomars in the cooler Winter months - probably because the chocolate is so sensitive.

Read on and enjoy ! It's winter!

HAWAII!!!

Yep, we've been traveling!

We spent a week in Kauai, then moved onto Oahu and beautiful Waikkiki beach in Honolulu. Amazing Trip! So as not to bore your shorts off, I will add just a few photos each day.

We start on the lovely beach of Paholie.   This is basically where the road ends and the lovely NaPoli Coast of Kauai begins!  You have to travel 5 miles in on an all dirt road - best served by a four-wheel drive vehicle. But totally worth the drive!!!

Kauai  is known as the Garden Isle!  You can see why.  Flowers and lush vegetation everywhere! Check out this huge tree.
Okay, maybe to scale you can see how big this tree really is!
We spent a great day on the beach but getting into the water was probably not a good idea.

check out these waves!  Even the surfers took the day off!

Enough for now - don't worry, I have hundreds more!
