Sara's Shower

My beautiful friend Sara is getting married this Saturday! I couldn't be more excited for her and her future husband. They are both wonderful people and great souls! We had a bachelorette party for her last weekend. Some of my friends and I pitched in to enjoy a great evening. My friends hired a private chef to come in and conduct cooking lessons. (Yes, Jamie's house is AMAZING). We had such a great time. Check out Sara's whopper of a ring which she flashed all night long! (Okay that's not the real ring, but it sure is shiny!)
Those adorable cupcakes were made by a local bakery in Mount Holly, Vermont called One Dozen Eggs. My friend Jamie is soooooo talented. She made customized tags for everything! Then our creative friend Leighann tied everything together and kept us in line. We made up some some herb gardens (directions in next post) to coordinate with the herbs in the chef's recipies!
Sara and Tate, I wish you both all the happiness in the world.
An Irish toast to you both! May you never lie, cheat, steal or drink, but if you must lie, lie in the arms of each other, if you must cheat, may you both cheat death, if you must steal, steal each others kisses, and if you must drink - drink with us, your friends!
Photos by Amy Anderson (also very talented).

VERMONT VILLAGER - The Genisis

Welcome! I'm Julie.

Years ago my husband and I moved to Vermont from the "burbs" to start a life in paradise. Fourteen years later we are still here. We share our home with our two yellow labs, who never seem to run out of energy. I'm crafty and my husband is handy, and we wanted a place to share our creativity. We love to take photos and my husband is great with a video camera! Please stop by our workshop, the door is always open. Stick with me, I'll probably be slow to start but I look forward to showing you all what life in The Green Mountain State is all about. I look forward to learning all about you and your crafts as well.
