13.1 MILES in a Half Marathon
And the point 1 is the killer! I spent this morning running the Annual Covered Bridges Half Marathon. It starts in Woodstock, Vermont and continues onto Quechee Vermont, where I live. It poured the entire race and the temp never broke 61 degrees, but it was a great feeling to finish the race!
Bib number 2589 (alpha order). The course crosses the covered bridge in Woodstock and passes by two others. Here I am coming into the finish! My legs are covered in mud from running on the dirt road!![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEghgmoM8_72iZ-EHvvxbaq5BQHUbZYs7x_gYvC2vpWZgqPJK_V812bMPnQB5a9V_HF_hEyUxl5n2bKmXz833srwyFnkMGgP5kbbNVp8MtDkdhRSIZNXxnjctDP_X7qp3vMezpllm06XTFw/s400/CBHM+6.6.10+013.JPG)
At the finish, you get complimentary beer, massages and bagels! Lots of bagels!
Two years in a row to run this race! Lucky Me!
